1. Quenton Jackson
While this player is not as big of a lock as the other names mentioned before him, Jackson was one of the brighter producers for the Pacers during the Summer League. Of the four, he is the only one to play in all five of the games for Indiana.
Two seasons ago, Jackson averaged 6.2 points a game for the Washington Wizards. He did so while 45.2% from the field. He also averaged 1.7 assists a contest.
During the five games this Summer League, Jackson averaged 11 points and 4.2 assists. He did have a rough outing in the second game where he only scored nine points and committed just as many turnovers.
However, the Pacers guard racked up 22 points making 75% of his shots. He had four rebounds, three assists, four steals and a pair of blocks in the Summer League finale for the Pacers.
Showing some prolific passing and flashes of defense, Jackson could be a great end of the rotation addition for Carlisle and Indiana. He is a young, up-and-coming player with a good deal of potential.
The problem for Jackson is that the Pacers already boast the names Tyrese Haliburton, TJ McConnell, Aaron Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, Bennedict Mathurin, in addition to Sheppard. It's possible he gets moved or finds playing time elsewhere. Jackson played strong enough to be looked at for the Pacers' final roster.
