2. Most double-doubles as a team in one season

Last year, the Pacers came close as they accumulated a whopping 91 double-doubles. The record is 97 as it was done twice by Indiana. The first being in 1985-86, two seasons prior to the great Reggie Miller being drafted.

The second such occurrence came in the 2002-03 season The roster boasted Jermaine O'Neal and Jamaal Tinsley at the time.

Falling just six shy last year, a couple of factors could be in favor of the Pacers putting up 100 or more double-doubles this upcoming season.

For starters, Haliburton was hurt multiple times and missed 13 games. He had 32 alone for the Pacers last season.

Furthermore, Indiana did not acquire former NBA champion and big man Pascal Siakam until midseason. He had 24 himself last season between playing for the Toronto Raptors and the Pacers.

Center Myles Turner had 17 last year and 18 the year before. Despite playing in 15 fewer games the previous season, the nine-year veteran had one more than his most reason season.

If the Indiana Pacers see 35 double-doubles from Haliburton, 25 from Siakam, and at least 15 from Turner, that gives the team 75 already, leaving them 23 short of the new record and 25 shy of cracking 100.
