1 Dream, 1 reach, and 1 realistic free agent for the Pacers to target

The Pacers don't need much to improve their team into an NBA Finals team. All of these players can help them, even if some might be a reach to sign.

2. OG Anunoby

OG Anunoby is another player who would fit extremely well with the Pacers. He is a menace on the defensive end and someone who can score points without plays being drawn up for him. He'd be another ideal fit at the wing position if he signed with Indiana.

Anunoby also played with Siakam for his entire career until both were traded away from the Raptors this offseason. Anunoby also played his college ball at Indiana University, so he has ties to the state. He also might be a bit cheaper on the free agent market because of his injury history.

The reason why it's a reach to sign Anunoby is because it seems like the Knicks are going to keep him. They traded for him with the intention of getting him to sign a long-term deal in New York. It also seems like they might offer him more money than what the Pacers would be able to.

Indiana could sign Anunoby to something along the lines of a four-year $85 million deal. They might be able to push it to $90 million depending on how they manage the rest of their cap sheet. New York looks like they are going to try to overbid him for his services.

Still, there is hope. Anunoby hasn't indicated in any way that he is staying with the Knicks. He's still really good friends with Siakam. Perhaps he can persuade OG to make his way back to the state of Indiana in pursuit of a title if he's willing to take a slight discount.

The final player on this list is a more realistic free agent signing that can help the Pacers for the next two to three years.
