The Indiana Pacers have scored 114 or more points in 10 games this postseason, and they are a perfect 10-0 in those games. On the flip side, they have scored 114 or fewer points in three games and lost each of those games. Indiana relies heavily on their high-energy offense to lead the way, and that has been the case in the playoffs. Fortunately for them, as they are just two wins away from an NBA Finals appearance, this stat bodes well for them as they are capable of hitting this mark every single game.

Ironically, the three games the Pacers have lost so far in the playoffs were all in Game 3, one loss each to the Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and New York Knicks. As the Pacers aim to inch closer to their ultimate goal of winning an NBA Championship, they must keep playing the brand of basketball they are known for, especially offensively, as it has done well for them so far.

The Pacers' offense can lead them to an NBA Championship

Indiana is a much more well-rounded team than many like to give them credit for, and they are far from a one-trick pony. However, their offense is their biggest identity and the reason they have made it this far. In the regular season, they averaged 117.4 points per game, which was the seventh-highest mark in the NBA. Additionally, their 116.5 ORTG was the ninth-best in the league. This also includes their slow start to the season, when they were dealing with brutal injuries to top guys like Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith.

It seems that the Pacers should have one specific goal within their games from here on out in order to ensure playoff success, which is to apparently score at least 114 points in each game. Of course, it is not always that simple, but that is what they have done so far, and it's worked.

Indiana is continuing to prove that they are a legitimate title contender, and they should be one for a long time. They are a young team with great chemistry, and they are in a good financial situation. However, even though they should have multiple shots at an NBA title in the future, it is clear that they want to take care of business and bring the trophy home this year. They still have to get through New York, but the Pacers are in a great spot to make history and make it back to the NBA Finals for the first time in over two decades.
