The Indiana Pacers head into the 2024-25 NBA season as one of the most exciting teams in the league. They are fresh off their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance in 10 years, and they have a combination of established stars and young up-and-comers on the team. The Pacers are aiming to prove to the basketball world they are legitimate title contenders and are here to stay.

Now, it is clear that Pacers fans are not the only ones excited to see what the team can do this year. After months of dealing with doubters and getting overlooked among the NBA community, the Pacers are receiving their much-deserved recognition from some of the game's most important people.

Pacers named the most fun NBA team to watch in NBA GM survey

Recently, NBA.com put out the results of their survey with GMs all across the NBA. In the survey, they voted on numerous hot topics, such as which team will win the NBA Finals next year, and who the best head coach in the league is.

One of the topics, however, was a much more lighthearted one, regarding who the most fun team to watch was in the league. In convincing fashion, the Pacers received the most votes, earning 37% of the votes. The next closest was the Oklahoma City Thunder, who received 27% of the votes.

Furthermore, the Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, and Boston Celtics rounded up the rest of the top five votegetters.

The Pacers being considered the most fun team to watch in the NBA is not a surprise. They are one of the fastest-paced offenses in league history and have a ton of exciting players on the roster. Tyrese Haliburton is solidifying himself as a star in the league, Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner make up an incredible frontcourt duo.

Furthermore, there are plenty of rising stars on the team, such as Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, and Bennedict Mathurin. These are just a handful of the players who make the Pacers unique and exciting to watch. It also helps that they are led by one of the best offensive-minded head coaches in the NBA in Rick Carlisle (who was voted as the head coach who runs the best offense in a landslide).

Ultimately, the Pacers deserve the recognition as the most fun team to watch. Not just because of their playstyle and youth, but because of the shocking run they went on during this year's playoffs.

The Pacers, however, are aiming to become more than just another fun team. Instead, they want to inch even closer to becoming legitimate title contenders. Luckily for them, they will not have to wait much longer to get the 2024-25 campaign started as their regular season opener is just two weeks away.
