After losing two straight, including on Friday night to the Miami Heat, the Pacers bounced back and defeated the Jimmy Butler-less squad on Sunday by a score of 119-110. With this win, the Pacers are 6-7 and own the No. 6 seed in the East. The two teams do not face off against each other again until January 2, when they will go head-to-head in Miami.

The Pacers looked impressive overall in their victory over the Heat. For Pacers fans, there is certainly a lot to like about the way the team performed ahead of their Monday night matchup against the Toronto Raptors.

Here are three players who stood out above the rest for the Pacers in their sixth win of the season.

1. Myles Turner

In what was easily his best game of the season, Myles Turner stepped up in a big way for the Pacers last night. Turner scored a game-high 34 points while shooting 14-for-23 from the field, including 5-for-8 from beyond the arc. Additionally, he recorded nine rebounds, one assist, and two blocks.

Despite a relatively slow start to the season, Turner showed everybody why he is so valuable to this Pacers team. After the game, the big man revealed that he has not liked his attitude as of late, calling himself "an energy sucker." Turner reflected on this game and cited it as the next step in his growth as a leader and as a man.

“Publicly, I haven’t liked my attitude the last few days. You’ve gotta be an energy giver and take accountability, but I feel like I’ve been kind of an energy sucker, kinda been in my own feelings a little bit…that type of sh*t is just negative. Obviously it was a great game just growing as a leader, growing as a man. You can’t put that stuff out into the universe, but I’m gonna hold myself accountable for that," Turner said.

Regardless of the cause, it is a positive sign that Turner was able to have as big of a game as he did. Hopefully for him and the team, this is just the first step to turning his season around.

2. Pascal Siakam

Pascal Siakam once again had another great game for the Pacers in last night's win. In the win, Siakam scored 23 points on an incredibly efficient 9-for-11 shooting and recorded four rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

Siakam made his presence felt in every aspect of the game and is constantly reminding everybody that he can help take this Pacers team to the next level. Through the first month or so of the season, Siakam has been the Pacers' most consistent player, and that trend continued last night.

3. Bennedict Mathurin

At this point, it would be a bigger shock for Bennedict Mathurin to not be named a top star for the Pacers. Since the Pacers inserted him into the starting lineup in the wake of the injuries to Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith, Mathurin has played incredible basketball, and that did not change against the Heat.

Last night, the third-year wing recorded 21 points on 6-for-10 shooting, a team-high 12 rebounds, two assists, and two steals. He also had the second-highest +/- on the team with a +18.

Nembhard and Nesmith are unlikely to return to the court until at least the beginning of December. When they come back, it is going to be difficult for the Pacers to move Mathurin back to the bench with how well he has played. There is still time before the team must make a decision, but it will be an interesting storyline to follow once it happens.
