The Indiana Pacers are coming off of a promising year in which they say players such as Tyrese Haliburton and Andrew Nembhard make big strides. The majority of the team is back again with a few key additions to the rotation.
However, this has set up a world of expectations for the Pacers who will look to make the playoffs this season for the first time in years. Anything less than a play-in tournament appearance would likely be a disappointment for most fans.
One of the biggest pieces of the puzzle to whether the Pacers can accomplish this task is the schedule they play. How many back-to-backs do they have? When do they play the easier teams in the league? All of this can be the matter of a few wins either way.
Here is everything you need to know about the team’s 2023-34 schedule.

Indiana Pacers NBA In-Season Tournament schedule
The NBA will be bringing in, for the first time ever, an in-season tournament similar to many leagues overseas in Europe. However, the games will count toward the team’s regular season record.
The tournament will start with group play before the winners of the group stage will move to a knockout round and everything but the championship game will count towards the regular season record of the teams. Here are the Pacers scheduled games for the tournament:
- Game 1: Indiana vs Cleveland, 11/3, 7 pm ET
- Game 2: Indiana at Philadelphia, 11/14, 7:00 pm ET
- Game 3: Indiana at Atlanta, 11/21, 7:30 pm ET
- Game 4: Indiana vs Detroit, 11/24, 8:00 pm ET
The Pacers got a decent draw for the first in-season tournament getting Cleveland at home but Philadelphia is likely the game we would have most liked to see at Gainbridge.
Indiana Pacers Preseason Schedule
The Indiana Pacers preseason schedule has been released and the Blue and Gold will have four preseason games starting October 8th.
- Indiana at Memphis, 10/8
- Indiana at Houston, 10/10
- Indiana vs Atlanta, 10/16
- Indiana vs Cleveland, 10/20
