1. Chris Mullin – 44.1% in 179 games

Chris Mullin is the top of this list and it’s not even close. He is nearly three percentage points higher from number two on this list, which in NBA percentages for shooting, is a near eternity of a gap.

His three seasons in Indiana were at a percentage of 44%, 46.5%, and 41% on what was a decent number of attempts at the time in about 3 per game.

Indiana acquired Mullin after his years with the Golden State Warriors as part of the Run TMC, who played a fast flashy style of basketball. In Indiana, alongside of franchise legend Reggie Miller, Mullin would give Indiana some of his best years (and saw quite a bit of success here as well). After his time in Indiana, he would essentially retire playing a handful of games for the Warriors to retire with Golden State.

So what do you think? Does anybody on this list surprise you? Are there any glaring omissions? Let us know at @8pts9secs
