2. Trade Myles Turner while his value is at it’s absolute maximum to collect more draft capital.

Every year comes with new Myles Turner rumors, and every year ends with Turner still in the Blue and Gold. Turner is an excellent center and a great piece to have alongside of Haliburton. He stretches the floor, plays excellent defense, and is able to shoot the three at a decent percentage. In fact, he’s probably one of the 30 greatest Pacers of all time.

Yet, he continues to show up in trade packages and rumors, with Mavs fans currently being the group to say he is a prime target.

But would this make sense for the Pacers? Most likely not, although, if the team believe that Isaiah Jackson could develop into the center of their future, they could trade Myles away for some additional draft capital (at least one decent first-round pick). It’s hard to see this realistically happening however.

There are a few teams that might be interested in the Pacers big man, but few that could offer anything of real value. The Mavs and Lakers are the two most likely suitors but neither of them have the draft capital left to bring in a player like Myles Turner. However, if the Pacers could find the right situation, this would be a bold move.
