The end of the bench: Still not a bad set of players

TJ McConnell – TJ is a great player and will get some minutes, but expect him to be a behind the scenes leader for the team this upcoming season.

Jalen Smith – Smith took a big step back in his second season in Indiana. We expect Jalen to probably get limited minutes unless he is able to outperform Isaiah Jackson early in the year.

Jordan Nwora – Nwora has some promise but will struggle to get minutes given the number of forwards the Pacers picked up in the offseason. It’s unfortunate for Jordan because if he is given the time to develop, he could probably really develop into something.

Daniel Theis – A vet that has never really have a place on the team. That will continue into this season with the Pacers.

Ben Sheppard – If he gets hot early, he may be able to make a case for more minutes. Unfortunately there is a backlog at the number two spot and Ben will probably not get much more than garbage time most nights.

What do you think? Do you think the Pacers will do something different? Let us know.
