The Pacers trade the seventh pick in the draft for a proven power forward that meets their needs.

Aside from drafting a power forward with the pick, the Pacers could send it to a team that is more early on in their rebuilding process. One team that may fit that bill would be the Toronto Raptors who are on the precipice of having to make a decision about the future of their team.

This is assuming that the Pacers have a good feel for the fact that Anunoby may want to resign with the franchise in years to come. If they have that assurance and can get Anunoby without losing Hield or Turner, the Pacers could be competing towards the top of the eastern conference sooner rather than later.

The Raptors would then have two lottery picks this year and Scottie Barnes to put together a young core they could build around in the future. It would be a win-win for the two organizations.
