The former Hoosier returns to Indiana
One option the Pacers would have would be to try and bring in OG Anunoby, who already has connections to the Hoosier State. The Pacers reportedly tried to go after Anunoby before the trade deadline only to find out that the asking price from the Raptors was far too high. Perhaps the price has come down to earth a bit, and if so, what would it look like?
The Pacers could package two of their first round picks in order to land the power forward talent they need in their starting rotation. This deal would have to be contingent on Anunoby being willing to sign a contract extension of some sort in order to guarantee that he is willing to stick around for the long haul in Indiana.
The Pacers would be also parting with Theis and McConnell as salary filler, both of whom already have clear replacements in the Pacers rotation.
