5. Buddy Hield

Once viewed as somewhat of a “throw-in” when the Indiana Pacers acquired Tyrese Haliburton from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Domantas Sabonis, Buddy Hield has become an important piece for the team. And not only that but he’s done a great job of rebuilding his reputation around the league and could be one of the most sought-after trade pieces (now that he’s entering the final year of his contract) heading into the offseason.

Hield is coming off a season in which he averaged 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists on 46 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent shooting from 3-point range. Any contender that’s looking for a third or fourth scorer that can also add an elite element from deep should look no further than Hield this offseason.

Considering that he’s still just 30 years old, it’s easy to see why he should be considered one of the most valuable trade pieces on the Pacers’ roster. And this is where we see a line between the “untouchables” and the players that you could seemingly see the Pacers moving this offseason.

There’s a fair chance that Hield could end up being moved this summer.
