Would this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?
Ultimately, this seems like a heavy price to pay for a young power forward that hasn’t made an All-Star team year (may never). While he certainly is talented and probably exactly what the Pacers need, they could go after him heavily when he becomes a free agent in 2024. From there, the Pacers could bring in Anunoby and keep all of that draft capital, especially because there are rumors that OG isn’t exactly thrilled about continuing on in Toronto.

Additionally, the Pacers may be able to draft four power forwards (one of which will hit) with all of those picks if they choose to. Ultimately, it’s just too high a price for a player who will have a player option in 2024 and could become a free agent after one year who hasn’t made an All-Star team.
Is he what we need? Yes.
Is this price way too high? Yes.
