A sign and trade to bring Khris Middleton to the Circle City

A player of Middleton’s caliber would take a lot of capital in order to acquire in a trade. The first piece is that the Pacers would have to try and sign/trade with the Bucks to make it happen. This would ensure that Middleton is on board for a handful of seasons alongside of Tyrese. But it would also cost assets on top of this. One scenario that might be beneficial for both teams.

The cost is certainly high. We would be giving up multiple starters and Theis for the salary match, as well as two future first round picks. This would give the Bucks additional players to put into their rotation as well as add shooting around Giannis in the form of Hield. It would then also recover some draft capital that they have lost in recent years for transactions for Jae Crowder and Jrue Holiday.

But would the Pacers benefit from such a deal?
