The Indiana Pacers played their last game of the 2022-23 season on Sunday, but the air around the franchise is still buzzing with anticipation of future success.  Though they missed the NBA Playoffs for the third consecutive year, the young Pacers willed themselves into big moments, looked into the brightest of lights, and delivered performances far beyond what anyone believed they were capable of.  Here are the top-5 moments of a memorable Pacers season, ranked:

Chris Duarte haunts the Nets on Halloween 

Chris Duarte’s 30-point eruption against the Nets was a highlight in an otherwise difficult start to the season for the second year guard.  After struggling to find rhythm through the first 11 games of the year, Duarte reminded Pacers’ fans of his potential by sinking 10 of his 15 shots–5 of those from beyond the arc.

Myles Turner blocks Mason Plumlee at the rim to seal game for Pacers

Myles Turner posted 4 blocks and a game-high 29 points against the Hornets in early January.  His most impressive block was his rejection of Mason Plumlee at the rim to seal the game for the Pacers.
