7. Devin Booker – took Myles Turner

The Pacers had the chance to get Devin Booker but instead took Myles Turner. Now this one is lower on the list because Myles turned out to be a great player. Not as good as Devin Booker, but still a solid pickup. However, Booker for years now has been one of the best scorers in the NBA. This season he averaged 25 points, five rebounds, and six assists.

That year, Karl Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell were essentially the consensus number one and two picks in the draft followed closely by Jahlil Okafor. And while KAT certainly turned out to be an excellent player, Devin Booker may have been the second best player in the draft class, so there were many teams that took a pass on Booker. Other players such as Mario Hezonja and Frank Kaminsky were much bigger busts and missed opportunities over Turner and Booker in this draft class.

Myles was taken 11th while Booker was taken 13th.
