The Pacers have been eliminated from playoff contention. And while this may be disappointing news to some, to others it signals hope. Hope that the Pacers will be able to make the right choices this offseason and bring a new squad together that will be able to bring the Pacers into the promised land.

So where do the Pacers currently stand in terms of all of their potential draft picks this summer? Well you have come to the right place. Here is an overview of all of the picks that the Pacers could have had this year and which ones of them actually materialized.

2023 NBA Draft First Round

  • 7th: The Pacers have the 7th pick in the 2023 draft.
  • 26th: Cleveland clinched a playoff spot and thus this pick materialized from the Caris LaVert trade.
  • 29th: The Boston pick from the Aaron Nesmith trade, sending Malcolm Brogdon to the Celtics. Could improve depending on if Boston continues to fall.

2023 NBA Draft Second Round

  • 32nd: Almost another first-round pick, the Pacers have a Houston second-round pick that has materialized into what is essentially a first-rounder.
  • 55th: The Cleveland second-round pick also fell to us this year.

2023 NBA Draft picks that didn’t materialize

  • 33rd: This was protected up until the 55th spot and obtained in the McDermott trade.

  • 48th: This pick, turned into the Cleveland second rounder based on conditions with Cleveland and Milwaukee.
  • 50th: This pick was involved in the same conditionals as the 40th and didn’t pan out.
  • 60th: This pick was what the Pacers would have gotten, but instead got the 48th pick.
