The Pacers trade away a veteran player and continue a slower long-term rebuilding process.
This may be a bit of a far-fetched one in terms of what the Pacers may be willing to trade away. I think that Myles probably settled any doubts that fans might have had about him with an amazing season this year, one in which he signed an extension and committed to Indiana for years to come. However, everybody has a number and perhaps the Pacers may be willing to move Turner for the right pieces.
This is one of the few trades on the list where the Pacers are giving up a real asset to get a draft pick back. Typically they are on the other side of that transaction. I don’t necessarily see why the Knicks would want to do that, but perhaps Knicks fans can chime in. Turner is certainly an upgrade to Robinson, but giving up Toppin as well as a first-round pick would seem steep.
