3. Consolidate draft capital for the upcoming years

The Pacers have multiple draft picks over the course of the next few years, with three first round picks in the upcoming 2023 draft. They also have a ton of second-round picks in the upcoming drafts, and arguably too many that they could reasonably sign to contracts. Because of this, the Pacers should seriously consider how they might consolidate their draft capital to the advantage of the franchise.

This could be packaging up draft picks to improve the positioning of one of them or it could be leveraging the picks in order to trade for an elite player. In either case, the front office should seriously be considering how they might leverage all of the picks they have accumulated over the years.

At some point the draft picks have to pivot into tangible assets. Perhaps this offseason is the right time for the Pacers to act.
