7 offseason tasks Pacers should already be working on

It will happen faster than you realize, and the Pacers will be heading off into the offseason to make adjustments for next year. As fans, we hope the Pacers will be more competitive in the 23-24 season than they were this year with another year of growth under their belts for the young team.

A little over a year ago now, the front office committed to rebuilding the Pacers franchise by trading away our current All-Star in Domantas Sabonis for a future All-Star in Tyrese Haliburton. I think many fans would say that was a great decision from the front office. And not only for the Pacers, many Kings fans would say the same thing.

But that doesn’t mean the rebuild is over given there are a ton of things the Pacers need to accomplish this offseason in terms of the draft, free agency, and players currently on the roster. So in this piece we look at the 7 things the Pacers absolutely need to accomplish this offseason in order to be more competitive next season.
