Draft capital and a great replacement shooting guard

The Pacers would have to give up ALOT of assets in order to land the current All-Star level player. But they might just have the right pieces in order to do it.

To be clear, the Celtics probably only consider this if they feel there is a chance that there is disfunction between Brown and the organization and that he won’t resign in 2025. Given that Brown will be entering free agency after the next season, they will have to do something with the forward or risk losing a multiple-time All-Star level player for nothing.

The price would be steep, but Jaylen would slot into Buddy’s place in the lineup and we would have to give up a couple of first-round picks. However, which two those are would be in the finer details of the negotiation.
