A part of the Lake Show no more?
Rui Hachimura was traded to the Lakers at the trade deadline, however, he still is set to become a free agent this summer. With so many questions about the current construction of the Lakers, it is worth wondering if Rui will be a part of their long-term plans. If he isn’t, he would be an excellent player for the Pacers to look at getting on a multiyear contract to start at the power forward position.

While Rui isn’t going to blow you away on either the offensive or defensive side of the ball, he is going to be solid at just about everything. And that’s exactly what the Pacers need in the power forward. Someone who can defend well, someone who can shoot well, and someone who can play a role in a system well. And Hachimura can reasonably do all of those things.
