The Pacers are in the midst of a rebuild, and that means the future seems to be full of countless possibilities of who the Pacers could be. Could we be a team that thrives in the traditional half-court offense? Could we be a team that is constantly moving like the Golden State Warriors? Could we forge our own unique path? Each of these questions considers serious thought.

The Pacers in the upcoming years also have significant draft capital as well as cap space to be able to bring in players. What the front office decides to do this offseason with all of the assets is bound to be a topic of endless discussion in the coming months.

However, throughout the entire process there are multiple players that the team should be keeping an eye on how their contract situations develop. To be clear, we aren’t saying the Pacers should go after and heavily pursue these players. But what the front office should do is monitor how their contracts are developing over the summer and try to see if we could them them for a reasonable deal in the years to come.
