There are multiple teams in today’s NBA that need to learn to either tear down for a rebuild or go for a playoff push. The Pacers are post tear-down and in the rebuilding phase towards trying to make the playoffs in the upcoming years.

However, there are always a handful of teams that need to tear their team down every offseason in order to stash picks and try to chart a path forward. CBS Sports came out with a list of teams that should be doing exactly that and topping the list is the Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, and Washington Wizards.

What the Pacers need to be doing this offseason is closely monitoring each of these teams for pieces that can put fuel on the fire for their rebuild. And what each team has to offer for the Pacers varies widely.
