8. Danny Granger

  • 9 seasons, 544 games
  • 17.6 points per game
  • 5.1 rebounds per game

Danny Granger showed up shortly after Reggie Miller retired and took the torch as he pushed the Pacers forward into their next era. He only made one all-star team, but Granger was one of the best scorers the Pacers have ever had (averaged 25.8 points per game in 08-09 and 24.1 points per game in 09-10). The biggest knock against Granger is a lack of postseason success, as the majority of his time in Indiana the team didn’t make the playoffs and when they did, they typically lost in the first round. But those of us who watched know what Granger was capable of. A leader on the floor that gave much of his career to help resurrect the Pacers from the tailspin after the Malice at the Palace. And he would see the Pacers once more rising in talent as the Paul George crew was in full force by the time he left.
