19. Don Buse
- 7 seasons, 539 games
- 7.7 points per game
- 5.1 assists per game
It doesn’t show up in the statistics, but Don Buse was an excellent guard for the Pacers. In the 75-76 season, he led the ABA in both assists (8.2) and steals (4.1), showing an excellent ability as a two-way player. Then when the Pacers merged into the NBA the following season? He led the NBA in both assists (8.5) and steals (3.5) again. He made the all-star team in both seasons and was one of if not the best point guard the Pacers have ever had (Haliburton will likely look to change this).
