23. Herb Williams
- 8 seasons, 577 games
- 15 points per game
- 7.8 rebounds per game
Herb Williams played for the Pacers from 1981-1989, being one of the best centers in franchise history. He eventually was traded to the Mavericks for Detlef Schrempf and a pick that later became Antonio Davis (who we’ve already seen). What can be said about Herb Williams? He was consistent (never played fewer than 69 games in a Pacers uniform for a full season and usually averaged high 70s). He was efficient with the basketball and played well on both sides of the floor. And while fans today don’t probably remember Herb Williams, he is absolutely deserving to be this high on the list.
