Boom Baby!

Buddy Hield is tonight’s player of the game. His first quarter was outstanding. He ended up leading the Pacers with 27 points and contributed with 4 rebounds and 4 assists for the evening.

One piece of his stat line surprised me was this: 2-3 from the three-point arc. Hield is the league leader in three-point attempts, and yet tonight (and in the previous game), Hield hasn’t really attempted too many triples. It didn’t matter tonight because of the ease of getting to the rim. I’m sure that was part of the game plan, but sometimes Hield just needs to shoot more, especially without Haliburton on the floor.

Next up… Chicago, who is right in front of the Pacers in the standings.

Next. Haliburton injured...how bad is it?. dark
