The Good

Buddy Hield had an off game against Dallas earlier on the road trip. Well, the Pacers clearly wanted him to be aggressive early in the game, and it paid off. Hield was pushing the tempo, hitting some long range shots, and was getting to the rim throughout the first quarter. Hield ended with 13 at the end of the first quarter, which was refreshing considering the struggles the other night.

Chris Duarte also had a good night, contributing 18 points off the bench. The Pacers are among the lead leaders in bench points, but Duarte’s injury earlier in the season has hindered him. He hit some buckets tonight, which was great to see coming down the stretch.
