A veteran that has some unique vision as to what the Pacers could become.

George Hill has some experience with the Pacers and what they can become. He was a central part of the eastern conference finals teams that challenged the LeBron-led Miami Heat in back to back years. Playing alongside the likes of David West, Roy Hibbert, and Paul George. And while he has been a bit of a journey man in the last few years, he finally came back to the Indiana Pacers in the trade with Milwaukee at the deadline.

It sounds like George Hill is happy to be back and wants to stay with the team:

While we don’t know if that is genuine or not, it sounds like George wants to be here and likes being back home.

We think the Pacers could use some veteran leadership with playoff experience and Hill may be a perfect fit for the mentoring of Tyrese Haliburton as he continues to come into his own.

Our decision? Return him if it can be done cheaply. Hill still has quality minutes of basketball in him and should be able to contribute off of the bench if on a minimum deal.
