A recent draft pick that has questionable upside moving forward

There was hope when the Pacers picked Kendall Brown in the 2022 NBA Draft that the team had gotten a steal, a player that significantly had fallen in the draft. However, play to date has been limited. It’s uncertain if the Pacers have any legitimate plans for Kendall or if they are seeing anything in his time with the Mad Ants to indicate that he should continue to play for the team moving forward.

Kendall looked good in his time in Baylor and many thought that he may have the talent to develop into a decent rotational player in the NBA. And he might be able to get to that point. The question is whether or not the Pacers actually want to put in the time to Kendall when they could draft guys in the upcoming draft that may already be better than Kendall. With limited roster spots it makes it difficult to figure out what would be the most efficient way to construct a winning team.

Our decision? Burn him or let him continue to play in the G league.
