A promising forward that never quite took off.

When Oshae Brissett initially signed it was seen as a win, and he was seen as a player that could potentially fill the power forward gap that has existed on this team for years. Early in his career when there were a lot of injuries up and down the roster, Brissett consistently got playing time and seemed to do really well with it.

However, once Rick Carlisle became coach, Brissett’s minutes have largely dwindled to the point where he is rarely seeing the court anymore. While some Pacers fans are a bit confused about the development, the path forward seems to be clear.

If the Pacers aren’t going to play Brissett, he isn’t getting any younger. Unless he can be signed for the minimum, we expect and suggest that the Pacers have to commit to either play him or let him walk. Anything less may not be fair to Oshae.

Our decision: Burn him for his sake.
