Return or Burn: Which free agents should the Pacers bring back?

The Pacers have a handful of free agents this upcoming season, and they will have to make some decisions about how they want to construct their roster of the future. The Pacers have been on a losing streak as of late and it is looking more and more likely that they will need to lean into rebuilding for a little while longer in order to achieve the goals that they want to as a franchise.

They have certain pieces that are definitely part of the future such as Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, and Andrew Nembhard. They have certain pieces that are likely part of the future such as Myles Turner, Buddy Hield, and Chris Duarte. And then they have question marks beyond that of who is a long term piece and who is here for only short while yet.

Determining where players stand on that ladder is important to understanding who the Pacers decide to keep and who they will move on from. In this article we will look at all of the Pacers that are set to become free agents in the upcoming offseason and ask: should the Pacers try to return them as a piece for the forseeable future? Or should the Pacers burn them and move on to another player?
