Absurd no-look assist by Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton was pure magic
By Joe Lyon
The Pacers’ were headed into Orlando on a relatively down point as the team has lost the majority of their games in recent weeks. And while this might be a good thing in the long term as we look at draft odds, it certainly isn’t ideal for team morale. It’s good to have a few nights now and again that show just how much upside this young core in Indiana has.
Last night in Orlando was that night, as the only thing magic in Orlando was Tyrese Haliburton.
Haliburton’s highlight assists were the only thing magic in Orlando
We could talk about how the Pacers showed Orlando how much more upside Indy’s core has than Orlando. We could talk about how Mathurin continued to show the world that he is just as deserving as Banchero for rookie of the year votes. We could talk about how the pairing of Haliburton and Turner looks to be something that could be sustainable for the next half-decade. But instead of my telling you all of that, let me show you just how good Haliburton is.
We will look through a couple of highlight plays from last night and talk about what makes them so spectacular and why Pacers fans have so much to be hopeful for in the coming years, even if the team continues to lose in the current one.
