In their newest updates on ESPN, the sports media company has listed Bronny James as a top 10 pick in the 2024 NBA draft. Additionally, they have Indiana projected to have the 8th overall pick in the draft. This means that the Pacers would have the opportunity to draft Bronny if they so chose in the 2024 offseason.

The case for Bronny James:

The biggest positive to drafting Bronny James would be the media boom that would come alongside the Pacers for the first time in years. The Pacers often are underrepresented in the national spotlight and in primetime games. This leaves the Pacers a team that many around the country/globe don’t know much about because they never see them play.

Bringing in a player like Bronny would bring along the media with him. The Pacers would absolutely get a bunch of televised games. They would absolutely be talked about across media platforms. And they absolutely would get more exposure globally.

Additionally, there would be a small chance that his father may come alongside him to play his final few years in a Pacers uniform (some may see this as a positive or a negative).
