In a recent interview with Hoopshype, Pacers’ rookie Andrew Nembhard was given the chance to talk about all kinds of things that have surprised him during his rookie season. The interview was coming off of the rising stars game in which Nembhard was of only a few non-first round picks initially picked to be in the games.

The questions ranged from how Nembhard feels about his first season in the league to questions about how he felt falling to the second round in the NBA draft. While a lot of the answers seemed to be what you would expect from a rookie, i.e. lots of games and of course I felt like a first round pick, one answer in particular seemed to shock a lot of people.

Hoopshype asked Nembhard if he compares himself to any current players, and his response?

"I like to compare my game to Jrue Holiday, honestly, as someone who could impact the game on both sides of the floor. I think I can be versatile on defense. I’m not saying I’m as good as Jrue right now, but that’s something I want to strive towards. His playing style is nice. He can score the ball, get others involved, and play with many different lineups. I think that’s a good comparison for me."

The question is, is this a good comparison?
