A young forward that has elite offensive upside?

Christian Wood would be another player that the Pacers may be wise to look at in the offseason. While Wood is currently on a team with both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving and it might be tough to leave, given the heavy price tag that both Irving and Doncic will put on the franchise, there may not be enough money to go around for the type of contract that Wood might be looking for. This would then be a great opportunity for the Pacers to try and get a high-level offensive player from the Mavs.

Wood is averaging the following stat line: 17 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists on 52% FG and 38% FG3. While the Pacers would lose some of the deep threat someone like Williams might offer, they would certainly be gaining in overall offensive ability.

The hard part of this one will be if the Mavs do extremely well in the playoffs, Cuban may be willing to overpay to try and bring the whole team back together.
