The Good

The Pacers played with good Pacers early. They had a good amount of baskets in transition like this one from Buddy Hield.

Now the Pacers could not stop the Wizards throughout the evening, but it was nice to see the Pacers offense flowing.

The best part of the game for the Pacers had to be the 10-0 run at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Trailing 80-57 at the half, I’m sure that there were some discussions about changes coming out in the second half. Andrew Nembhard’s quick three pointer and jumper gave the Pacers 5 points right out of the gate. Another bucket by Haliburton and Turner cut the lead down to 80-67 with 9:23 left in the third quarter. That’s about as good as it got for the Pacers for the evening, but that stretch showed the potential of the Pacers moving forward.
