As we quickly approach the trade deadline, one team that may be flying a bit under the radar would be the Golden State Warriors who will be looking to defend their title from the previous year. The Pacers could potentially make a deal for some young pieces that aren’t getting playing time in Golden State that could here in Indiana.

Multiple outlets such as the Athletic and NBC Sports, as well as John Hollinger are reporting that there is some willingness on the part of the Warriors to move off some of their money or potentially upgrade at certain positions. This could be an excellent opportunity for the Pacers to increase their young talent while moving off of some of their larger money.

The Athletic reports that:

"“[The Warriors have] an increased willingness to engage in conversation and explore the idea of moving their younger, out-of-the-rotation players if a significant enough upgrade is offered.”"

This involves multiple players such as Moses Moody and James Wiseman as well as Jonathan Kuminga to some degree. The Pacers may have interest in any one of those three players and they absolutely should go after at least two of those players. Here is an idea of how they could do it.
