Boom Baby!

This was a great effort overall for the Pacers. It would be easy to say Myles Turner’s rim protection and double double are worthy for player of the game. Buddy Hield would also be a terrific candidate for his contributions, including this dunk that got the attention of his Pacers teammates.

For me, I’m going to continue to ride the Aaron Nesmith train. For the second night in a row. Just as panic mode had set in for me (again) in the 4th quarter, Nesmith his one of his 4 three-point shots with 2:55 left in the fourth quarter to give the Pacers a 6 point lead. It was just the breathing room needed to withstand the final push from the Kings and secure a much needed victory for Indiana.

The Pacers will need to rest and recoup with the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers coming to town. I’m sure the defense will need to step up again if the Pacers are going to come away with another home victory on Sunday evening.
