The Good

Before the game, the Pacers had two questionable players on the injury report – Haliburton and Theis. As the game got closer to tip-off, both players were announced to be available. A full roster? Has that ever happened for the Pacers? I almost didn’t know what to do with myself at that point. Even better was the All-Star announcement during starting lineup introductions for Tyrese Haliburton.

To many fans, that probably does not seem like a huge deal to have the full roster available, but this is Indiana. The Pacers have been decimated by injuries over the past decade, so forgive me for having some excitement. Hopefully, the team can continue to stay healthy moving forward. They have shown how good they can been when the whole roster is available.

Aaron Nesmith had another solid performance with 24 points. The Pacers needed his shooting to try and stretch the floor and allow Haliburton room to roam. He did just that. Nesmith continues to be a great addition to this team. Now he just needs to consistently hit his shots and be a weapon each game. That will help open up the floor for Turner to do his work in the lane and give Haliburton another sharpshooter to pass to.
