A trade that returns significant draft capital to the Pacers

While keeping Turner may be in the Pacers best interest, depending on extension talks, that simply may not be an option. Looking towards the Mavericks may be a great way to create a win-win trade scenario. The trade would be similar to the following:

The Pacers would be bringing back a rotation level forward that, while isn’t a game-changing player, can play quality minutes in the NBA, as well as a first round pick, a swap, and a second round pick. That would likely be enough to get the job done for a Myles Turner trade.

In return, the Mavericks get a quality starter, an elite defensive player, and a fifth piece to go alongside Doncic, Dinwiddie, Wood, and company. While the draft cost may be high, the Mavericks are going to have to spend in order to keep quality talent around Luka during his tenure in Dallas.
