Player grades from the Indiana Pacers big comeback win over the Chicago Bulls

Hey, I had a great game too!

A-. Swishing four three-pointers is usually already a very good game for Buddy Hield. Yes, he did struggle from the field overall (5-14), but the sharpshooter flashed his all-around game against Chicago, adding five boards, four assists, four steals, and three blocks to his name. Wait a minute, did Buddy really just flirted with a 5×5?!. SG. Indiana Pacers. BUDDY HIELD

SF. Indiana Pacers. AARON NESMITH. B+. Aaron Nesmith failed to drain any of his seven field goal attempts, scored just three points, and nearly fouled out of the game. Well, who cares! DeRozan gonna DeRozan, but Nesmith’s defense on the All-NBA scorer was splendid. And his transition block late in the game was perhaps the biggest defensive play of the night. With intangibles as good as his, screw the bad shooting!

TERRY TAYLOR. B. In true Terry Taylor fashion, Rick Carlisle went with him early and he didn’t disappoint, bringing much energy for the Pacers given his pressure on the rim against Chicago’s not-so-good interior defense. Overall, this was a solid night for the young forward, who finished with 11 points and five rebounds, four of which were of the offensive kind.. PF. Indiana Pacers
