We would absolutely do a deal like this. The question is whether we would do it for one less first round pick.

This deal would be an A+, getting two first-round picks in return for Myles Turner. That would put the Pacers total first round picks in the upcoming draft to five, which would give them nearly infinite options in what they could do.

The question is whether we would do this for just one first-round pick, which is much harder. If contract extension talks fail, only one-first round pick may be enough rather than Turner walking for free.

It is also still to be seen how interested the Knicks actually are in Turner. In recent years, the franchise has been linked to multiple stars across the NBA, but never seems willing to shell out the assets to actually land the star players they are eyeing.

That being said, New York has a great core of players to which they may be looking to build and this trade would let them do just that while also allowing the Pacers to bottom out and transform the franchise in the upcoming draft.

What do you think? Would you do this trade?
