2. Paul George holds some amount of respect for the organization all these years later.

Another really interesting quote from the Woj pod, was when Tyrese and Adrian were discussing what Paul George had said to him when he got traded to the Pacers. It is no surprise that Paul George in recent years has had some interesting things to say about the Pacers, many of which painted the franchise is a less than stellar light. So many fans might have assumed that the messaging from Paul would have been more derogatory of the Pacers franchise.

However, when Tyrese talked about what Paul George had to say about Indiana, this is what Tyrese said: “PG text me when I got traded. He was like, ‘They’re great people over there.’ And that meant a lot.”

“PG text me when I got traded. He was like, ‘They’re great people over there.’ And that meant a lot.”

This quote makes it sound like there is still a little big of respect from Paul George regarding the Pacers franchise. While we don’t know if he would ever come back and play in Indy again (or if fans would even want him to) it’s nice to see that the bridge isn’t entirely burned up between the two parties.
