Chris Boucher, Toronto Raptors

Could the fifth-year big man fit the needs of the current Pacers roster? He certainly fills the position of need in power forward and likely will be available with the Raptors off to such a poor start this season.

There are a lot of things to like about Boucher. He is a decent three point shooter with the ability to alter shots. He doesn’t make a lot of mistakes and is a solid rotational player in the NBA.

That being said, the biggest concern with Boucher is whether or not he would really be able to better contend with the type of bigs that trouble the Pacers than Jalen Smith or Myles Turner already can. It feels like Boucher is really just a retread of many of the forwards and centers that the Pacers have had in recent years.

While he may be available and very much in the realm of possibility for the Pacers, the only way that Boucher to the Pacers would be beneficial is if Turner got moved in a trade for a player like Anunoby and Boucher got thrown in to make salaries match. Otherwise, expect the Pacer not to make him a priority.
