Michael Scotto, analyst for HoopeHype and USA Today sports, has released a new report with some of the biggest trade candidates to become available on January 15th. Today we ask the question, would they fit with the Indiana Pacers?

The Indiana Pacers have some clear needs. The biggest of which is the power forward position, which they continually get shredded on defense with an inability to guard strong power forwards. Players like OG Anunoby and Montrezl Harrell can routinely take advantage of the Pacers, and that’s not even mentioning some of the more elite talents across the league.

The Pacers also have a bit of a log jam at shooting guard, with promising young players like Chris Duarte not getting the minutes needed to actually develop fully. So the question is, given what seems to be available, and what is looking more and more like a playoff push year for the Pacers, what/who should the Pacers be looking to trade for?

With trade season in full swing, and the NBA trade deadline on February 9th, now is the time for the Pacers to be looking to make moves that could impact this season and forward. If they want to leverage things like their 3 first round picks this year, now would be the time to do so.
