Can the former Arizona Wildcat and professional journeyman stick to a roster: Gabe York

Gabe York can ball. When he is on, the man has a real ability to shoot the basketball. However, since leaving Arizona in 2016, he has struggled to stay in one place. He has played basketball professionally overseas in places such as Greece and Israel, but has had a tough time getting onto and staying with a professional roster.

He has been able to get some court time for the Indiana Pacers, appearing in 2 games for the Pacers last year and averaging 4 points in 10 minutes in those games. Yet the majority of his time has been overseas and in the developmental league.

For the Mad Ants this season, Gabe is averaging almost 25 points a game to go along with nearly 4 rebounds and 4 assists. He looks to still have NBA potential if the right opportunity lines up for him.

Don’t be surprised if you see him suiting up for the Pacers sometime down the line or landing a two-way contract with another team if he continues to play this way the rest of the G League season.
