The Pacers bring in a seasoned MVP and a young underachiever.

The Indiana Pacers in this trade would be bringing in a couple of things. They would get a seasoned veteran presence in the locker room in Derrick Rose. They would be bringing in a younger player in Cam Reddish that may still have some upside left. And they would get a fourth 1st round pick in next years draft.

Cam Reddish has been long talked about as a trade target of the Pacers, and likely we are all sick of hearing about him. But the reason he is oft talked about is because of the attributes and collegiate skills we saw that many believe could still translate into a solid rotational player.

The first-round pick is from Washington, so it’s likely to be middle of the pack. That being said, it along with the Celtics, Cavaliers, and Pacers pick next year may likely be able to be parlayed into something useful.

The price? An expensive Buddy Hield contract, that is unlikely to benefit the Indiana Pacers in the long-term.
